Does it deliver?
The Double Room with a sea view was super clean, and the evening meals were freshly prepared and delicious. The staff were pretty good too ensure a pleasant experience.
The hotel felt quite run down. The poor bathroom and thin walls made sleeping difficult, as noise from neighboring rooms was quite intrusive.

Lovely sea view from the room. The kids enjoyed the children's playground. Seating in public areas feels a bit cramped. Dining options were fantastic and service was really friendly.

I really enjoyed staying at the Sands in Burntisland. The sea view from my room was fine. The bed felt comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety and the haggis stood out as the best I've ever had. The staff were friendly and eager to help. I noticed a musty smell in the wardrobe in my room, and the decoration in the common areas felt a bit outdated. It would be nice to have the upholstery refreshed. My experience was quite pleasant despite a few minor issues.

We had a cozy stay with a delightful breakfast that included a full range of choices and a comfortable, well-kept room. The sun terrace was perfect for relaxation, and we enjoyed the beach access too. The only downside was that some areas felt a bit dated, but it didn't ruin our overall experience. 😊

The staff were really helpful n friendly. The food was decent. Had a great sea view from our room, it was really nice to watch the lights of edinburgh at night. The location near the beach was also a plus, we enjoyed walking along the shoreline. Breakfast was tasty and fast every morning, loved it!
But we were super disappointed with the state of the room, it definitely needs some upgrades. The walls were thin and we heard everything from the next room, really annoying.
